We arranged a five-day stay for two adults and one child, costing about $4500. On arrival, the owner greeted us and explained how things worked, then asked for the tourism tax, which I paid in cash. The house was freezing in minus -8 degree weather. I bathed my daughter, but there was very little hot water, and the place still hadn't warmed up. After 40 minutes we couldn't stay. The owner said the cleaner had left the door open and the heating needed time, but we told them we were cold and that this wasn't okay. They refused to refund the booking or even the tourism tax, with no empathy for the fact that there was no warm heating. I'm very disappointed and wouldn't recommend staying here. It's also far from the ski areas and food venues.

We loved the well-equipped, thoughtfully designed, eco-friendly place, with snow scenery and MT. Yotei in the background, a view you only find in a few exclusive places. Yoshito and his lovely wife were great hosts, easy to communicate with and always willing to help. Well done! As always, book direct with them.
