The Noto peninsula is still recovering from the 2024 earthquake and tsunami, and they welcome visitors as much as they can. I’m glad we made the trip. The secluded setting is lovely, the staff are warm, and the rooms are comfortable. We ate really well and the baths were beautiful. I’d go back tomorrow.

The morning light over the bay from my room was hard to beat, and the food was incredibly fresh and high quality. The sea-view clifftop setting is stunning, with lovely staff to welcome us. The place feels contemporary while keeping a clear Japanese look, with beautiful timber and a thoughtful finish. The ocean-spring onsen were wonderful on the skin, and the cave bath felt like its own little adventure. This was one of my best stays in Japan, and I hope to return soon. Maybe our visit gave a little support to Noto's long recovery from the earthquake, too. Stay strong, Noto

The communal onsen didn’t drain very well, so water collected around the spot where you wanted to sit. Aside from that, this is a well-established classic hotel with lovely omotenashi hospitality. It’s tucked away, which makes it peaceful and quiet. Check-in happens in a private room, and meals are served in individual rooms too.

We had a memorable anniversary meal here, and everyone on staff was welcoming and friendly. Our room was nice, and the bath in it was spectacular. The public hot spring baths were pleasant too. Guests can try fishing off a pier, and we enjoyed looking around the gift shop. Payment options include cash, cards, and PayPay. I’d happily stay again and recommend it to family or friends wanting a relaxing getaway.

The room stayed really cold all night, even with the heaters running. The hot spring, though, was very good. We only caught small fish, and landing a big one was tough, but the hotel can cool or keep your catch. The food was alright, although the meat we ordered was very fatty and oily. Overall, I didn’t think it was bad.
