Relaxing in the onsen and riding the ferry back to the hotel while looking at Japan’s iconic mountain is something I won’t forget. The sunset and the view of Mt. Fuji were breathtaking. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive, and dinner was excellent, with fresh, flavorful dishes presented beautifully. One of the best hotel stays I’ve had, and truly unforgettable.

I slept so well here. The bedding was great, the food was great, and breakfast was majestic. The scenery and the view were beautiful too. Best hotel I’ve stayed at.

The ocean Onsen was a memorable experience, and the staff were nice. The rooms were comfortable and better than I expected. But that bed was so hard, and the pillows kept sliding around. I had one of my worst nights of sleep. It was also a shame that rain and clouds meant no view of Mt fuji, and the restaurant was fully booked. There are no restaurants on the island, so we brought food, but eating at the restaurant would have been much nicer. The hotel and island exterior looked pretty rundown, and the aquarium next door was DEPRESSING. Breakfast was included, and the older ladies serving it were really kind, though the food didn’t stand out. The unused bar was a shame because it’s really beautiful, and the path around the island was nice.

The staff took great care of us during three quiet, really relaxing nights in an extraordinary place. Breakfasts were excellent, and although the Japanese-style meals were very good, the western-style menu was the highlight for me. It’s a remarkable hotel in a remarkable setting. I only wish we lived closer, because I’d come back often.

We booked through the Traveloka app, and this was one of the best hotels my husband and I have stayed at. The view was awesome, the room was great, the service excellent, and there were lots of facilities. It felt like a real five-star hotel. There’s free entry to the big marine zoo, plus a pedestrian tunnel, marine pier, and fishing for a fee. On the second floor they offer complimentary wine and ice cubes, and there’s an art gallery in the hallway, a luxury library with a bar, and the Onsen. It’s a great place for a honeymoon, for introverts, or just to relax after work stress and get away from the big cities.
