The rooms are basic, but they were clean, and getting around is easy since the hotel is only a short walk from the station. It’s an affordable option, especially for solo travelers or anyone watching their budget. The lobby staff were warm and helpful, and lending out things like plug adapters and umbrellas was handy.

This is my favorite Toyoko Inn. I liked the views over Numazu, the breakfast was good, and both the breakfast staff and the front desk people were friendly.

The staff were excellent and happy to help, which made this a workable base for seeing the local area. I spent five nights here while touring the five lakes area. There are two Toyoko inns in Numazu. This one is very close to the station, while the other is on the same side and a little farther back.
