I stayed at a few Route Inn hotels while hiking the MCT, and this was my favorite. The staff were kind and helpful, and I liked the friendly, comfortable atmosphere. The room was clean and functional, breakfast was excellent, and there was laundry and a public bath. It's also conveniently close to the trail, with good restaurants nearby and the BRT just a few minutes away. Good memories!

The breakfast was delicious, and the onsen was fantastic. It's a business hotel, but a great fit for one or two people. I love this place.

I had far more coffee than I needed, in the best way. The free machine uses real beans and makes Americanos and blends at the press of a button. Breakfast was a buffet with plenty of milk, cereal, and vegetables, plus individually wrapped fresh bread that was very easy to sneak into my pockets. The room was tastefully decorated and had a table where I could get important work done. It made me feel like a proper businessman, even though I wasn't. Ah, memories.

The hotel is in the center of Ofunato, so there are things to see nearby, along with lots of convenience stores and restaurants. My room was spacious, and the hotel was very clean. The onsen was great, too.

Booking online got me a free drink from the vending machine. The breakfast was nice, and my room was clean and pleasant.
