Asozuri Onsen Kameyama no Yu Yado

The onsen room was the best feature. It has plenty of windows looking out onto a large private yard, and with them open you can hear birds chirping. It feels more like an indoor room than a semi-open bath, but it's lovely. The bath itself is made of cypress, nice to lean against, and the spring water runs so hot you may want to add a little cold water. We stayed in a traditional Japanese room in our own cabin. You come in through a sliding door, take off your shoes, and step up to a central hardwood-floored room. The living and sleeping area with tatami mats and a low table is to the left; the toilet room and sink are straight ahead.
