Good value for a quick business trip, and there’s Wi-Fi. The lobby and room were very clean, and the service was friendly. Parking was straightforward too, though the lot is on a side street about 30 meters from the hotel.

The woman at reception was very kind, and the hotel has a lovely view of Lake Suwa. It’s taller than most of the nearby buildings, so it must have made quite an impression when it first opened decades ago. The twin rooms are big, sit at the corners of each floor, and even have a closet for hanging clothes. You can walk from Okaya station. For the price, I’d give it five stars if the bathroom were updated and the Wi-Fi were better.

It’s a great price, and the staff really look after guests. The room is a little old, but has everything you need.

The staff were very friendly, and the location is convenient. Free parking is a big plus, and everything was clean with no unpleasant smell. The place is worn and a bit rustic, though. The rooms felt small for the price, and there was heating but no air conditioning. Wi-Fi was free but barely usable. Still, the sunrise view from the fifth floor was quite stunning.

The lakeside mall is nearby, and the station is close enough to walk to.
