TC1 Tomo's cafe annex

The manager, who’s about my mother’s age, was lovely to talk with, and she put real care into breakfast. She sprinkled shredded seaweed over the yam so carefully and cheerfully told us stories about guests from Japan and abroad. I felt relaxed staying here by Lake Suwa, and the one-group-per-room arrangement let us stay without worrying. It’s a warm, family-friendly spot that’s well placed for sightseeing around Lake Suwa and Suwa Grand Shrine. There’s also a rental space on the first floor for small gatherings. I’d recommend it for a cozy stay alone or with family. 😄

Breakfast was mostly Japanese food, with enough variety and plenty to eat, and we were very satisfied. The manager was kind and welcoming as well. We came as a group of five with my daughter’s family and our one-year-old grandchild. It was easy to relax without worrying about crying or other noise. We’d like to stay again if we get the chance.

The landlady was warm and very kind. The place itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable. I’d definitely recommend it.

I booked through Airbnb while traveling alone on my motorcycle after riding the Venus Line. During the day the space is used for remote work and meetings, then at night it operates as a guesthouse. My room was spacious, with two double beds and a sofa set, and it was comfortable. The bathroom and toilet were new and clean. The owner was very kind and even took the time to show me where to park, which helped a lot.
