The hotel was good and the breakfast was delicious. I met the robot dog and just smiled. I found it quicker to reach the station using the side street by the hotel instead of the Main Street. The surfaces were fairly smooth, and that route leads to a side entrance with escalators. The photo shows korakuen garden. Excellent.

We had a very clean, well-kept room, and the staff were friendly and professional. This hotel made a great base for Okayama and the surrounding area, about a 10-minute walk from the main station on a pleasant street beside a canal. Just a minute away is Oyobe, a lovely little tempura restaurant where they do their best to help English speakers. I'd highly recommend it.

The rooms are a good size, well appointed, and quiet. The hotel is in a great spot, only a five-minute walk from the JR station. They also offer prepaid Ta-Q-bin luggage forwarding, which is so handy.

The staff were very helpful, including with dinner reservations and transferring our luggage. Our room was clean and a good size, with a comfortable bed. It's close to the train station and plenty of places to eat. One thing I missed was complimentary bottled water. Reducing plastic waste is good practice, but a filtered water refill station for guests would be nice.

The rooms are tiny but cozy, and there’s a nice smoking lounge, library, and vending machine on the fourth floor. The amenities are good and the service staff were wonderful. We could only book one night because of availability. Book ahead, as it sells out pretty quickly.
