Hotel Sunset Hill

The room was huge, and having a dining table and induction cooktop was handy. The bath was huge too. The mattresses and pillows were clean, but old and flat. Toiletries were self-service in the lobby, though full-size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were in the room. The door uses a key instead of being automatic, so you have to do it the old-fashioned way. If your room is near the highway, it'll be noisy with the balcony open, but fine if you keep it shut. The room's size made up for the other drawbacks.

It felt more like an apartment than a hotel room, with plenty of space, a full kitchen, a full-size fridge, and a proper bathtub. My room didn't face the sunset, but it was still a relaxing place to stay. The area is a bit remote and there aren't restaurants nearby, so you'll need to drive or take a taxi. There's a useful snack shop downstairs with cup noodles and basics.

The only real hassle was finding the right highway exit. It took us a few tries because the location is like a maze. Otherwise, it was a very nice hotel, with large clean rooms, great balcony views, modern facilities, and comfortable beds.

We had a great experience from start to finish. The included breakfast was amazing, and the service was superb. We emailed with questions and got a quick reply. Later, while we were trying to book an Uber in the lobby, a staff member kindly came over to see if we needed anything and offered to call a taxi. The room was comfortable, the balcony was nice, and everything was clean. Highly recommended!
