Maribu Beach House

We picked this villa for my daughter's graduation trip, our first time in Okinawa. Since the year before, we’d been looking for somewhere dog friendly near the beach. The outside looks old, but inside it was clean and comfortable. It’s a little over an hour from the airport, which made it handy for getting around the island. The Blue Cave, Ryukyu Village, and Cape Zanpa are close by, and there are restaurants a 3-10 minute drive away. The supermarket is about 20 minutes away, so we had no trouble finding things. The first day was sunny, but then rain and strong winds kept us from going outdoors much, so we skipped the BBQ and went sightseeing instead. We did find it inconvenient that the villa had so few condiments. We bought some at the 100-yen shop in the supermarket, then had to throw them away when we left, which felt wasteful. The beach is only a three-minute walk, but it was run down and littered. My family and I spent two days picking up trash. Even so, I’d request this villa again if I came to Okinawa with my family.

From the garden with its lawn and barbecue table to the living, dining, kitchen, and bedroom areas inside, the setup was lovely. The ocean view from the window was beautiful, and both the room and location were impeccable. I had such a blissful overnight stay at Malibu Beach House yesterday. I’d love to come back. I bet people who stay here will want to return 😆✌

The location was great, and I was very satisfied 🐶. I stayed four nights this time, but next visit I’ll make it about ten. I’ll definitely come again. Thank you!
