Pension Moon Villa

The room was large, clean, and nice, and the price was very affordable. If you want to try a Japanese-style room, you can book here. It takes about 30 seconds to a minute for the shower water to heat up, but that's manageable. You can take a direct bus from Naha bus terminal to Moon Beach resort, which is right in front of the hotel. For 2,000 yen per adult and 1,000 yen per child, you can use the resort pool and beach for the whole day. A 4.8-star yakiniku place is just a one-minute walk away, there are lots of nearby restaurants, and the convenience store is six minutes on foot.

The owner/operator was happy to call a taxi for us, and we went to Blue Cave, just a few minutes away. We also had an outstanding dinner within walking distance at Shimabutaya Maeganeku. We loved the hotel and the area so much that we'd like to stay for two weeks next time, and maybe come every year. The check-in area was really groovy, and we had our key in a minute. Our room's big window opened onto a beautiful view. We're really excited to return.

The villa is a bit dated, but we had a great stay. The staff were very kind and helpful, and our room was cleaned every day. Great location, highly recommend 👌🏼.

The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and it had a microwave and fridge. Parking was available, and the beach was close by. Still, the room felt old, like being at your grandma's house, and the decor and furniture were dated. The AC was dusty and mouldy, and I didn't want to use it. There was no insulation, so we slept cold in December. The room and bathroom were dusty overall, and it didn't feel like much attention had been paid to cleaning between guests. The old bathroom had few toiletries, half-used toilet paper, and a shower curtain stained with blood. Two stars for this two-star hotel.
