ARlis house Shin Osaka North

With self check-in, we had plenty of freedom and independence. The place was quiet, though restaurants, shops and stations were all in the neighborhood, so we got a feel for everyday life in a big Japanese city. There was everything we needed inside too, including our own kitchen, washing machine and air cleaner. Our family was only three train stops away.

Would definitely recommend 👍

I got a good night's sleep here on my solo trip. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were soft. There was also a washing machine, boiler and tableware, which came in handy. The sofa bed was the weak point: folded up as a sofa, it kept sliding down and wasn’t comfortable to sit on. It’s in a quiet residential area, about a seven-minute walk from Higashi-Mikoto Station, with large supermarkets and drugstores nearby. An elementary school is across the street, and from the balcony I could watch the kids playing outside. Even in winter they had short sleeves and shorts, Japanese kids are amazing! 🇯🇵 Great stay 👍🏼

The staff were friendly and quick to answer questions. I asked about toiletries one evening, and they arrived the next morning. The price was reasonable, and I liked the layout and facilities. The room was generally clean, though the cleaning could be better. There was dried soup on the countertop and induction cooker, so we bought cleaner at the supermarket and took care of it ourselves without telling the landlord. At first the air conditioner seemed broken because no air was coming out. Its filter was so dusty that it blocked the airflow. We took it out and washed it, and then it worked perfectly. The air conditioning was great and cooled the room well.
