The host was great about suggesting places to visit in Osaka and explaining how to get there. I found the stay really affordable, and the service was good. The place has mixed dorms with bunk beds as well as private rooms with futons. There are two bathrooms, one on each floor, plus three toilets, two downstairs and one upstairs. You can use the fridge, microwave, and hair dryer, and there's a free washing machine with a paid dryer. Soap and 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner are provided, but you'll need your own toothbrush and toothpaste. If you forget them, you can buy either for 50¥. Towels are also BYO, though a bath towel can be rented for 100¥. Quiet hours run from 11 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. During that time, the hair dryer, washer, and dryer are off limits, and you can't use the upstairs bathroom or toilet.

I was comfortable here from the moment I arrived. The owner was warm and helpful, and the place was clean and relaxed. I only stayed one night, which I regret. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting an easygoing place to rest.

The staff were really friendly, and the price was great. Getting into the city is easy too, with a five-minute bus ride to the train. The location also makes it easy to experience Japanese culture. 10/10, stay here!

Taka was an amazing host, and the room was clean and roomy with plenty of amenities. It was also really convenient for getting an early start on hiking koya-san.
