The hallways and elevator looked worn and dirty, and the building felt more like a grimy apartment block. Inside the room, though, everything was spotless and really comfortable. It's small, but has the essentials, including a microwave, mini kitchen and comfy bed.
The train station was close, and the washer was about the only good thing. I stayed for two months, but they wouldn't accept my adjustment request for the third month even though I sent it a month ahead, since I had to go back abroad. I ended up paying 483 usd for a place I wasn't staying in. They scammed me over it and made it seem like I was getting a good price. You've been warned. The bed was trash and really uncomfortable. The building felt very ghetto, the walls were paper thin, and the wood floors creaked. Even the washer seems one wash away from failing. Don't stay here.
The self check-in instructions were easy to follow, and the keys were usually left in the mailbox. We were warned that guests could get loud and residents might call the police over noise. When we arrived, there was water spilled all over the room. The landlord couldn't tell us why, apologized, then asked what we expected him to do about it. We picked this hotel for its low price and location. It isn't in the city center, but it's easy to reach by JR rails and very close to Shirokita Koendori station. This was our first hotel after arriving in Osaka, Japan. The room is really small, with a double mattress on a hard floor, a stove, microwave, fridge, TV and free-to-use AC. The toilet and shower share one cramped bathroom. Water temperature was badly managed: we'd adjust hot and cold ourselves to get it somewhat comfortable, then after about 20 seconds it'd turn boiling hot or freezing cold. I'd recommend it for a short stay, especially for visitors passing through, backpackers or people trying to save on hotels. I wouldn't suggest it for families or anyone looking for a comfortable room.
The room had lots of things for cooking and living, though there was no salt. You can buy some at the store just ten steps from the entrance. For me it was a perfect room, simple as that. I don't know why there are one-star reviews, maybe they're fake. All good.
The place was filthy, check-in was impossible, and the microwave didn't work. They also hadn't provided basics like laundry soap or other essentials. It was an absolutely terrible experience, and I wouldn't recommend it.
