New Osaka Hotel

We enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and everything else was very good. One thing that surprised us was the ¥400 per bag fee for leaving luggage after checkout. We explained that we had another booking at the same hotel after a 2-day trip to Hiroshima, but storage was still chargeable. We haven’t encountered that before, since most hotels in Japan usually store bags for returning guests for free. It was a small inconvenience, and we’d still consider coming back.

The location made the trip easy, with Shin-Osaka station very close and the Midosuji line less than a two-minute walk away. I stayed from 18th to 20th March and would come back next time I’m in Osaka. A special thank you to the woman at reception wearing black glasses. At about 3.15pm on 19th March, she helped call the car rental company about schedule changes. I didn’t get her name, but I really appreciated her help.

The room was exceptionally clean and looked newly renovated, so it felt fresh and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the convenient location and good service made the trip smoother. I had a great stay and would consider coming back.

The rooms were a good size, and the hotel is really close to the station. There’s no lift from the ground floor up to reception, though. I’m not sure how it works if you arrive by car.
