Washington R&B Hotel Shin-Osaka Kitaguchi

The room was comfortable and very clean, and I slept well. Staff were courteous, and the welcome drink bar is a nice bonus. It's a 5 minute walk to the station, just follow the detailed directions on the website. The only drawback was having no mirror in the room outside the bathroom.

Just a 5 minute walk from Shin-Osaka station, and good value for money. Staff were especially friendly and always helpful. The rooms were a bit bigger than the ones we'd had on our trip, and were modern and clean, like most Business hotels in Japan. Breakfast was different from the other Business hotels we stayed at: freshly baked bread, an egg, machine soup, and juice. It was a bit dry, though, since nothing else was offered.

The staff were kind and patient with my limited Japanese, and they held my bag until check-in. It's a good hotel in a good location, a simple business hotel that's a short train ride from downtown Osaka.

The free breakfast downstairs was a nice extra, handy for grabbing something quick on the way out. Rooms are quite small, as you'd expect in Japan, but mine had everything I needed and I was very comfortable. The staff were extremely hospitable and helpful. I'd like to visit again.
