After a full day of travel, I was still awake at 2 a.m. because Japanese neighbors were shouting, screaming, and laughing loudly late at night. When I asked the front desk for help, they brushed me off and told me to put up with it. The service was just average, and the experience was really disappointing.

I left my things behind and went to Tokyo. After I emailed the hotel, they sent them to me quickly. I was impressed.

I chose this hotel for its location, very close to subway transportation. For the rate, it’s a great deal. The room and public spaces were clean, and the staff were really friendly.

The breakfast staff are phenomenal, and the food was delicious each day. After guests had to queue for seats during the first couple of mornings, the hotel brought in a crew on day three to completely redo the seating. It’s impressive how much they listen to feedback, and the breakfast alone makes the economical stay worthwhile. My wife and I both had sore backs for three days, though. I’d suggest offering a bed topper with the premium plus room, since it would probably make the floor bed softer.
