Hotel Universal Port Vita

The location is incredibly convenient. I’m checking out soon after three days here, and the staff have been very helpful, going out of their way to answer questions and address concerns. The hotel is also making an effort to cut down on waste while still trying to keep the stay comfortable.

We loved being able to control the temperature in our room, since not every hotel in Japan lets you do that. Lawson is in the building, which made things easy, and the hotel was clean and new. We had a deluxe room high up with great bay views, and the beds and pillows were comfy. The staff were great and even left my daughter a birthday card for her birthday. It’s a good distance from the station and USJ. Breakfast was okay, with a cute selection, though I’ve had better elsewhere. The custard choux was amazing. This was our favorite hotel of the Japan trip.

The staff were really helpful and gave great service. I also appreciated having a washer and dryer at the hotel, though they only took 100 yen coins. Our room was spacious and came with its own parking lot, which was very convenient. For getting to Universal Studios, the location is great, right in front of the park and CityWalk. The train station is right there too if you want to head into the city.

The room was very clean, and having a Lawson downstairs made it easy to pick up snacks or medicine. There’s a restaurant on the third floor, but I didn’t try it. USJ and the train station are very convenient to reach, including for going elsewhere, like the aquarium. We were really happy with the stay and hope to come back soon.
