Hotel Universal Port

After a long day at Universal Studios Japan, the comfortable rooms were a welcome place to rest. Hotel Universal Port was clean and spacious, with lovely decor and an atmosphere that felt both fun and relaxing. The park is just a short walk away, and restaurants and convenience stores are nearby. The staff were helpful, friendly, and professional throughout our stay. I’d recommend it to families, couples, or anyone headed to Universal Studios Osaka.

The train station, shops, and plenty of restaurants are close by, and Universal Studios is an easy walk. It took less than five minutes to reach the entrance. A special thank you to Washio, who greeted us so warmly at the hotel entrance every evening when we got back from the park. She was always cheerful and smiling, and after a long, tiring day, that welcome made our evenings better. Thank you, Washio, for your kindness and wonderful service. Simply outstanding!

We’d happily stay here again. The rooms, breakfast buffet, and location were all excellent. There were great choices for our picky children, and the hotel is convenient for USJ and the train station. The ferry just behind the hotel makes it easy to get to the aquarium, which is a must-visit, and Legoland. What really made the stay stand out was the staff. They were so friendly with the children and went out of their way to help. Twice we had issues because we’d misunderstood something ourselves. I expected the front desk might say nothing could be done or that it would need to be escalated, but both times the staff sorted things out promptly and professionally, without hesitation or debate. Special thanks to Washio for spending so much time figuring out the best solution for our luggage transfer. She helped us avoid a critical mistake, and we really appreciated it. My family and I had a great experience, especially as a family traveling with children, and highly recommend the hotel.

The rooms were the largest we stayed in during our time in Japan. We could easily open two suitcases, and the space was modern, clean, and well maintained. Lovely harbour views were an added bonus. It’s a very family-friendly spot, a short walk from Universal Studios and Universal CityWalk, with lots of food choices and shops nearby. A great option if you’re visiting the park. Just keep in mind it’s about 40 minutes from central Osaka.
