The owner was kind, and the place was clean. Just be aware that the rooms are upstairs on the second floor, reached by a narrow staircase, which could be awkward with luggage.

Really enjoyed talking with Bullock. He was so nice and made sure we had a good time. Thank you, Wood On ❣️

The staff were friendly, and they let me check in early and store my luggage. I could also stay in the common areas until noon. This is an old wooden house converted into a guesthouse, though, so there are steep, narrow stairs and no elevator. It's about 650 meters from the subway, which felt like a long walk. The rooms are dated but clean, and I never had to wait for the shared toilets. The kitchen has no cookware or dishwashing sponges, and there's no drinking water. Best suited to solo travelers packing light.

I could check in early and leave my bags there. The room felt stuffy and a little dusty, but sleeping with a mask on made it fine for me. There are stairs both up to the room and down to the kitchen.

The female staff member was very nice, and the large sink was easy to use. I could stay in the shared area until noon, which helped a lot. The place has Wi-Fi, a small TV high up in the common area, three toilets in a row that rotate, plus another one nearby. I didn't have to worry much about toilet availability. The interior has lots of wood, and some walls look sandy. It was pleasant, though a bit old-fashioned. The kitchen can be used for cooking. There was one pot, cups, plates, spoons, chopsticks, a cutting board, a refrigerator, and an IH cooking heater. I think there was also a microwave, toaster, and electric kettle. No sponge was provided, so I washed the dishes by hand. There was no drinking water either. The washing machine had no price posted, only a note to ask staff, so I couldn't tell how much it cost. It's a private home turned guesthouse, with quite a few steps and no elevator. The staff had to carry my luggage upstairs, and it's not wheelchair accessible. The subway was quite a trek with bags. I checked the map and measured about 650 meters from the subway exit. There were no fragrances in the hostel, so I didn't get a headache, which was good. I could smell something in my room, though, so maybe another guest was wearing perfume. ID is required, so keep that in mind. I normally avoid places that are far away and ask for ID, but there weren't other options when I needed a room. The next day was a weekend, and I couldn't find anything available for February 10th during Lunar New Year. I posted on a share/roommate bulletin board asking if I could stay. I had been unsure about going to someone I'd contacted in Neyagawa, but I wasn't serious about it anyway. He later abandoned me without meeting because he didn't like my age. After emotional abuse from a woman, I chose a man and really thought he'd help. I'd paid him. He said at the time that he'd show me his residence card, and even though I told him we were much older than each other, he said we should meet and decide. He's divorced. When I told him I thought he was divorced and said what I wanted to say, he unsubscribed from the site. I thought it might be okay if he had a woman, but when he opened it just now, I thought I was lucky or something, then noticed something seemed suspicious and stopped. I'm not sure if he's really a woman. Everyone, please be careful. If there really is nowhere available, try Jankara or internet cafes. I recommend Naniwa Kenkou Land Utopia. It's cheap.
