The breakfast staff were lovely, and that was the only good part of this stay. I booked a non-smoking room more than a month ahead because I'm a non-smoker and was traveling with my seven-month-old. But after we checked in and went up to the smoking floor, I went straight back to reception, thinking there had been a mix-up. They insisted I'd booked a smoking room. When I said I couldn't stay there, they gave me air freshener and said the hotel was full and nothing could be done. I told them I was very unhappy and that putting a baby in that room was dangerous, but they still wouldn't move us. I searched through my luggage and found proof that I'd booked non-smoking. They finally gave me a different room, but its window was broken. There was no apology for the booking mistake and no discount. Sorting it out took an hour at reception, so I was late for my first appointment in Ota. The receptionist was pretty rude, and I couldn't believe she was willing to put a seven-month-old in a really smoky room for a six-night stay.

I was in OTA overnight for a business trip. The hotel was clean and convenient to get to, and breakfast was included. There was also an interesting camera display at the reception elevator entrance, showing who was coming and going.

I went down for breakfast at 8:30 am and couldn't find anything to eat except rice and coffee on the table. Thanks anyway.

The rates are very reasonable, and it's a modern business hotel with the amenities you'd expect. The staff are friendly, helpful to foreigners, and easy to deal with.
