I came to enjoy Owani Onsen, and the inn was a quiet place to relax. The food and hot springs were excellent, and all the staff were friendly, so I felt at ease. The building is old but well maintained. The handmade map was really useful, too. It’s about a 15-minute walk from Owani Onsen Station. You can reserve a shuttle by phone, or just enjoy the walk. This is a favorite inn, and I’d like to stay here again.

Dinner’s Strait salmon was delicious, and the seasoning throughout was just right. The indoor and open-air baths were both at a comfortable temperature. I relaxed while looking up at the sky from the open-air bath. I was very satisfied with the service, food, hot springs and rooms. Thank you for a wonderful stay. I’d recommend this inn to anyone.

The food was plentiful and filling, and breakfast was Japanese style, healthy and delicious without strong flavors. The hot spring water was clean and just the right temperature. The bath was small, but the faucet worked, so I could use it. Cleanliness was the best part. My room seemed renovated and was clean, with a sunken kotatsu by the window. It had no kotatsu cover, though, and the wooden floor made the spot pretty chilly, which was a downside. On arrival, I got a warm welcome from someone who seemed to be the landlady, and the staff were friendly. I’m glad I booked on the official website, since I got all three perks 😍. Solo travelers are welcome, so I’d love to come back.
