The washing area was spotless, and the hot spring had a lovely atmosphere. I used to think the water was lukewarm, but it seems they’ve heated it. The temperature felt just right this time.

I’m a motorcyclist, so I’d like to stay here someday. I first heard about the place around 20 years ago, when a rerun of “Everyday Hot Springs” featured hot springs in Enechike. The owner from back then has passed away, and it seems his son has taken over.

The building and facilities are pretty old, but they’re looked after and perfectly fine for a day visit. I especially appreciated the hallway water dispenser stocked with cold water. Lots of hot springs won’t even let you drink their cold water these days, so that was a thoughtful help. Getting into a hot spring for 300 yen feels like such a bargain now. This place is so good that many bikers helped protect it through crowdfunding during the renovation. I’d like to do my part to cherish it too.

I warmed up quickly in this lovely water. It’s clear, with no taste or smell, and its high pH leaves your skin feeling moisturized.
