The breakfast was free and had lots of choices, and there was also a welcome drink and an evening cocktail bar. Staff were very friendly and gave great service, though communicating in English could be a bit inefficient. The hot spring is small and the men and women use it at different times. Our room had a password instead of a key, which was convenient. It's a standard Japanese room less than a ten-minute walk from Omiya station, with convenience stores, restaurants, and shops nearby. The bathtub was small, so the hot spring was a better option. We'd booked a standard room for two, but there was only one pillow. Reception said the hotel was full and they had no spare pillows. I couldn't understand that. Later, a staff member brought us one that was so thin I could barely feel it. Even so, we enjoyed our time here.

I slept well and felt rested for each day ahead. The room was cleaned perfectly during my stay, and the staff were consistently friendly and ready to help. They were also kind and courteous when I arrived. The room suited me as a solo traveller: queen bed, full bath, small fridge, work desk, and an Ethernet cable. The station is a short walk away via the elevated walkway. Wi-Fi and daily breakfast were included, vanity kits were available on request, and the laundromat cost a small fee. They advertise other facilities, but I didn't need them. I enjoyed the stay.

The staff were fantastic, and I really liked the bath house. My room was spotless and had plenty of sockets for charging devices. You can choose the pillow you prefer, too. Tokyo station is a 20-minute train ride away.

Breakfast was great and made up for some of the downsides, and the staff were helpful. The hotel is clean and good value, though there's a bit of a walk from the station. The standard pillows are like hard rice bags, and softer ones would be better. There's only one onsen, so it gets time-shared, and it's too small.

It's a basic place, but it has what a business traveller needs. The Lohas group does a good job of looking after business guests. I've stayed here every time I've come to Japan, and I'd recommend it for the good service and value.
