Hotel Shimizuso

This was my second business trip stay here, and the clean room was a real help. The staff were very helpful too. Maybe it’s just my impression, but the smoking smell seemed less noticeable than at other places I’ve stayed. I think I’ll keep choosing this hotel when work takes me to Tochigi.

The spacious parking lot was a big help, and the room was clean. I didn’t get a chance to try the highly rated lunch, but the station-side location was convenient and the cafe in front of the station caught my interest. I’d like to stay here again.

I came back for a second stay because I wanted to visit a nearby sushi restaurant. It’s an older business hotel, with a refrigerator in the room. The only amenities supplied are conditioner shampoo, soap, and a toothbrush. There’s a regular trash can, but none in the bathroom, which could be a little inconvenient for women.

I’ve stayed here several times for multiple nights. There’s plenty of parking, with train stations and restaurants nearby. Bring your own toiletries. The rooms have an unpleasant smell, and the Wi-Fi is very weak and often unreliable, depending on the floor or room.
