The subway is nearby, which is handy, but dealing with rubbish was a nightmare. We booked around 12 nights, and after six days nobody had collected it despite our repeated attempts to reach the owner. Guests aren’t allowed to take rubbish downstairs themselves. We were in unit 2706, booked through booking.com, so you may want to ask for a different unit when booking. Anyone who’s been to Japan knows how hard it can be to find a public bin.
The units felt roomy by Japanese standards, especially compared with Tokyo or Osaka. Nakajima Park Station is very close, while Susukino Station takes a bit of a walk, though it’s manageable. Two elevators were running. The floors had a mix of mostly Airbnb units and commercial spaces, and the motion-sensor lighting left the corridors pretty dark.
The rooms felt spacious compared with the places I stayed in Kyoto and Tokyo.
