Hanke Sandwich & Inn

That was a wonderful experience in Sapporo. My parents and I thought the BLT at this sandwich shop was the best we’d ever had. The sauce, egg, and proportions were all just right. The drip coffee was just as impressive. The owner has developed his own method, and it made for the best coffee I’ve had so far in Japan. Thanks to everyone at the restaurant!

Everything was carefully made and delicious. I had the croque madame plate with berry tea, and my boyfriend got the hot dog plate with a honey caffe latte. I recommend choosing a plate for a more complete breakfast, since it comes with salad and yoghurt plus jam. We had a very good breakfast here, and I recommend it!

The cherry sandwich was fresh and light, and the yogurt with jam made a nice finish to the meal. We had a great view walking back to our hotel across the bridge, too. Cute cafe, tasty breakfast plates and sandos, and really good coffee.

The staff were kind and spoke enough English to make getting past the language barrier easy. The menu also has English options. It’s a cute little place with a nice atmosphere and good coffee, plus breakfast and lunch choices. Just a four-minute walk from Premier Hotel Tsubaki Sapporo. I’d definitely stop in if you get the chance.
