The sauna was spotless and nicely designed, and I could unwind while looking out at the view. They even had free ice bars afterward. The room only had a shower, no bathtub, but I didn’t miss one with the sauna there. Check-out was quick on the machine, and smokers have a designated room by the entrance. I booked through Booking for about 7000 yen and was pleasantly surprised. The room had a cozy, chic feel unlike a typical business hotel, with a huge TV and red carpet, and the café was a nice place to relax. Breakfast was tasty, and the staff were super friendly. There aren’t many convenience stores right by the hotel, but it’s easy to stop at one when coming back from Susukino.

For the price, this was a great hotel, only about 2-3 minutes from the train station. It had a stellar gender-segregated sauna, free ice pops afterward, free ramen from 9-11pm, and razors, toothbrushes, and other things in case you forgot them. Restaurants and convenience stores were nearby too. The room was quite dark, with very few lights and a dark red carpet, and there was only one hook in the bathroom. Those were minor issues for us. Sapporo’s sidewalks generally aren’t maintained well in winter, so bring crampons to avoid slipping on ice. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the hotel if you’re in Sapporo.

The bedrooms are small, but the sauna is nice. The lobby and convenience area are really big and pleasant. It’s a shame breakfast isn’t served unless you order it a day ahead.

Seeing snow for the first time in my 28 years was a big deal, and staying here became an important part of that first snow experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. December 22, 2025.
