Getting around is easy from this very well placed spot. The nearest location is just a five minute walk away.

I spent seven nights in a capsule room. It’s a decent cheap option for Sapporo, though a bit removed from the busy areas. Noise carries, so bring earplugs, and having to carry a key card even to the washroom gets tedious. I also had to pay the bath fee in person, which wasn’t great.

The onsen is small but really nice, and both the AC and WiFi worked well. The rooms can feel a bit lackluster and sometimes a little dirty, though that didn’t bother me much for the price. I found it quiet, well located, and cheaper than most hotels, with friendly staff. For a cycling tourist, I think it’s a good option. There’s space under an overhang behind the hotel for a bicycle. Just roll it back there, spot the red flag and small smoking area, then follow the walkway. There’s enough room behind the hotel to pack the bike privately, and you can bring the boxed bike into your room. There are two bike shops nearby. LOV got me a bike box, and nearby 100 yen shops sell tape and bubble wrap. I took a taxi to the airport through the GO app, the lazy option, and it cost close to 100 USD. Hope this helps other cyclists.

A night in a room was around $30, and they even provide a night suit to change into once you’ve settled. It’s a great fallback if you miss the last train, since they’re open all night. The bed was comfortable.
