Ayumi Hiraishi greeted us at breakfast reception each morning with a warm, energetic smile, and that made us feel welcome and started every day on a positive note. We stayed 16 nights at Hotel Monterey Edelhof Sapporo. The clean, spacious, comfortable room made a great base for our trip, and the first floor laundromat was especially handy over such a long stay. We also often went to the onsen. It was relaxing and well maintained, and a lovely way to unwind after exploring Sapporo. That warmth from the staff really stayed with us. I’d highly recommend Hotel Monterey Edelhof for a Sapporo visit, especially a longer one where comfort and convenience matter.

I’d like to thank the team for their caring service. After I realized I’d left my sunglasses at a hotel in Aomori, I was really anxious. A Hosokawa staff member called the hotel for me and followed up carefully, with such patience and thoughtfulness that I felt reassured. They found my sunglasses, and I was deeply touched by her kindness and professionalism. This genuine care made a real difference. Highly recommended.

Getting around was easy, and I was comfortable during my two day stay with a friend. I really enjoyed the main spa. I accidentally left my phone at the hotel, and they shipped it internationally back to the US within a week. It arrived in its original condition, and the whole process was painless. Highly recommend.

The room had enough space to open two suitcases at once, and the location is excellent. Staff were friendly and professional, and the hotel has a luxurious, cozy feel. Great value for money.
