The afternoon and evening welcome-drink happy hour was a nice surprise. I only found out a couple of days into my stay, but there was a generous selection: wine, champagne, tea and coffee, a special orange soft drink, special corn tea, Japanese beer, a probiotic drink, sweet sake and hot cocoa. Snacks were chocolate, rice crackers and peanuts. I booked four nights through Agoda at the last minute, about 3.5 weeks ahead, and got one of the last rooms during Sapporo Snow festival week. The price was great with the USD exchange rate and breakfast included. The single room had enough space for me. I used the air purifier and borrowed a humidifier from the 5th floor, where there were also vending machines, a shampoo bar with different hair care brands, and things like pillows, blankets and an iron. Breakfast was among the best Japanese-style buffets I had on my trip. There was miso, soup curry, regional soup, natto, fried chicken, thinly sliced seared tuna and octopus, rice with pickles and toppings, salad, and a tea and coffee machine. Bread was limited, as were Western choices like scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, which I didn't care for anyway. The hotel is well placed for the subway, Susukino, restaurants and the underground mall, and Sapporo train station is a subway ride away. Everything at the hotel is in Japanese, so I needed Google image translate to read the signs.

For a budget hotel, it's nice, and our tatami room was big. Near the stations, tower, market, shopping streets and restaurants. Sure, I'll stay here again.

The breakfast was nice, and the location was really convenient during the annual snow fields.

It's a budget hotel near the tram stop. Lawson minimart is just a 2-3 minute walk away.
