Kiyaza Space Sapporo

The flat Japanese beds take a little getting used to. There’s no couch either, so relaxing means sitting on the wooden chairs or floor, or lying on the bed. I would’ve liked a couch. We were a group of six and didn’t have enough kitchen utensils to go around, so it needs more of those. The accommodation itself is modern, nice, and clean. It’s about 2 km from Sapporo station, though there aren’t many shops nearby.

I enjoyed my stay so much that when I came back to Sapporo, I booked this lovely apartment again.

Not having a key made going out easier, since I didn’t need to worry about losing one, and it made sightseeing more enjoyable. I’d definitely stay here again on a future trip to Hokkaido. It was my first time with an unmanned check-in system, so I felt a little nervous at first, but everything went smoothly. The room had enough space for my family, the price was reasonable, and opening the door was a surprise. It was furnished with appliances and furniture, almost like living there, and the facilities were fantastic. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay.
