The location was really good, around five minutes from Tanukikoji shopping street, with lots of restaurants, cafes, souvenir shops, and drugstores. A 100 yen store, Lawson, and 7/11 were close too, and coin laundry was a few blocks away. It was a cozy stay and suited our family of four. Check-in was a bit strange, as other reviews mention, so make sure you read the instructions carefully. We were there in winter and the unit was a little cold with only one working heater. I’m not sure if there was just one heating unit or if we couldn’t work the other wall unit. There was a washing machine in the unit, but we couldn’t use it because it had no dryer. Overall, a great stay and we’d go back!

The room was dirty by Japanese standards. There was dust in every vent, stains on the pillow, and it didn’t seem to have been cleaned thoroughly. The kitchen was unusable, with just one pan and no trash bags. There was nowhere to hang clothes either.

The room had plenty of equipment, but it wasn’t very clean. The station is conveniently close. I’d already checked in online, but still had to go through more procedures at check-in, which was a bit of a hassle.

The check-in process seems suited to younger people, and older guests may find it a little difficult. The room fits a family of 4-6 and is fully equipped. The price is reasonable for the amenities.

Getting around was convenient, with airport and city buses, trams, and the subway all a short walk away. Tanukikoji Street is close too. The stay itself was a bit of a shame. There was a faint musty smell when I went in, though I don’t know if it came from dust mites or some kind of insect. The sleeping mats and comforters made my skin itch when they touched me, so at night I wore long sleeves and pants and lay directly on the tatami mats. Luckily it wasn’t winter, and I was glad this happened near the end of my trip.
