The location is hard to beat, with convenience stores and restaurants nearby and easy access to odori park, Sapporo station, and Susukino. We stayed four days and were very happy here. The rooms are a little old, but clean and spacious by Japanese standards. Our air conditioner and heater worked properly, as did the water pressure and water heater. The one odd thing was that the pressure and temperature sometimes jumped for a second or two. There were also electric sockets beside the bed. I’d stay here again without hesitation if we visit Sapporo.

The service was really good, especially for such a cheap price, and the breakfast area was great. The place has a sort of 1950s New York hotel look, right down to the old-style door keys. I’d love to see dinner or a bar for drinks in the evening. We’ll definitely stay here again when we come back to Sapporo.

Getting in and out was a challenge because the roads and walkways were covered in thick ice, and it was easy to slip. The hotel is near the shopping street, at least. Our triple-sharing room felt suited to only two people, and breakfast didn’t offer much variety.

There’s a lot of room for the price by Japanese standards, and it’s a very convenient base near Odori Park, Susukino, the subway, and an airport shuttle. The hotel itself is somewhat old, though, and there weren’t any electrical outlets near the bed. I’d book it again!

It’s showing its age, but it’s still a good place to stay. The location is right in the center, and it was very comfortable. The staff were nice too.
