For a couple, this would be a great apartment to rent. With three of us, though, it felt too small, especially the bed, so I spent the whole week on the couch to give my wife and kid enough room. There wasn’t another chair either, so I had to use the bath stool. They did provide a plate and cutlery for kids. The apartment was new, clean when we arrived, and cozy and modern. Its central spot made it ideal for seeing Sapporo. Susukino has some sketchy areas, but by expat standards even those aren’t too bad for Japan. For a family, I wouldn’t recommend it.
