Sauna Style Sapporo

We stayed in this residence in late July and August 2025. I hesitated to book because there were no Google reviews, so I hope this helps other travelers in the same position. The apartment looked just like the pictures on Expedia. Natural light and wood throughout made it feel welcoming, and the beds were firm, which we liked, with thick, fluffy duvets. Check-in happened on a tablet in the house, with someone helping by video call. We’d gone through something similar at a three-star hotel in Tokyo, so it seems to be a trend. We liked having a fully equipped kitchenette, a washing machine, toiletries including toothbrushes and toothpaste, cotton wool, soap and shampoo, plus both a bathtub and shower. The TV had Netflix and YouTube, and let us cast shows. There was free parking in the front porch. There was no dryer, though, and a bigger rack would have helped us hang our laundry. We ended up using the upstairs rails. We also could have used more plastic bags for rubbish, since the bins kept filling up and we had to contact the host. We had a three-year-old running up and down the stairs, and the gaps between the rail bars made that stressful. A rope to childproof the upper floor and stairs would have helped, though we didn’t expect one. The house seems newly furnished or built, and everything was well maintained. We didn’t use the sauna since it was summer. It’s a lovely place, and we’d recommend it and hope to return 😊
