The host was kind and quick to respond, and we could ask about anything, including places to visit. We booked through booking.com. The house is in a quiet Sapporo suburb, nice for wandering around the neighborhood, and nights were peaceful. For a family arriving by car, the free parking is a big plus, and there’s an elevator so no need to haul bags up stairs. The kitchen is fully equipped; there’s also a bidet toilet, bathtub, washing machine, towels and toothbrushes. Netflix is on the TV. It feels like having your own home with hotel amenities. Visitors from overseas might find the place small, but by Japanese standards it’s very spacious. Compare it with a hotel in the area at the same price and you’ll see what I mean.

The host made the stay feel like home by providing all the amenities we needed, and the unit was thoughtfully set up down to the details. It’s a larger place that fit our family of five, two adults, two teens and one preteen. The building was wheelchair friendly for my wife, and the lift was accessible. It is a bit far out, though, so having a car is necessary.

We enjoyed staying here as a family. The place is a little small, but it’s fully equipped and there’s parking available. If you’re renting a car to drive around Sapporo with your family, it’s a good place to stay.

For a group of four, this apartment cost less than staying in a hotel, and we had an enjoyable time here. It was clean, and the housekeeper was very friendly and welcoming.
