Super Hotel Sapporo Susukino

We got to the hotel before check-in and left our suitcases at the front desk. When we came back that evening, they’d already been brought up to our room. The location is excellent, and there are separate bathhouses for men and women. The service was excellent too. I’d highly recommend it.

The Wi-Fi could be faster, and sometimes there was noise outside from the next door, maybe a bar. We skipped the hot spring and used the bathtub instead, which was fine. The staff at the front desk were really nice, though a few of the breakfast staff weren’t as nice. The staff were kind in general, and when they couldn’t speak English, they explained things with a small board. I’d like to stay again.

Meow! I liked being close to downtown for exploring and seeing Sapporo nightlife. It’s in a bit of a red light district, but that didn’t bother a city cat like me. The hotel was new and clean, and breakfast buffet was included. The onsen bath was okay, though it had a slight chlorine smell, like hotel baths often do. Four paws 🐾🐾🐾🐾

Being right in the center made it an easy five-minute walk to downtown and a fantastic Genghis Khan restaurant. The room was small, but I was only in Sapporo for one night. It was quiet with no street noise, so I slept well. In the morning I had a relaxing soak in the small ground-floor onsen, then went to breakfast. The hotel was inexpensive, clean and tidy, and the friendly staff helped with my booking.
