We booked seven nights over Christmas and specifically needed an apartment with two toilets. I checked with the owner beforehand and was told it had them, though no floor plan was available. When we arrived, there was only one. I called about it and was told cancelling would mean no refund. We also never got a check-in confirmation code before arrival, and the apartment is next to a graveyard. I felt misled.

There’s room for a group of about 7-8, with bedrooms upstairs and the living room below. Having a bathroom and toilet on each floor was handy. The place was clean, and the towels looked fairly new and were bright white. Kitchen basics included a kettle, microwave, fridge, cups, and plates. Check-in is done on a tablet by entering everyone’s details, then it shows a password to unlock the room.

I live in the apartment next door and have seen these guests put their trash in our building’s garbage station several times. We sometimes get notices telling residents to follow the station rules, and I suspect their behavior is why. I wish the warning notices were written in Chinese.

The place is clean and feels new, with a roomy living area in this spacious 3LDK apartment. Even at full capacity for eight, there’s enough space to keep some distance. I just wish there were a bathroom trash can.
