The room and Wi-Fi brought this down to one star. The connection was spotty, and the bathroom had the funky sewer smell people mention. It even came from the toilet water. Plugging the sinks when they aren’t being used helps, but doesn’t fully fix it. The rooms are tiny, the beds are firm, and there’s barely space for luggage except under the little desk. The hangers by the bathroom can hardly hold two coats. The air conditioning is centralized, and in winter there’s only heat, no cooling. Our room got too hot, so we had to keep the windows open and listen to sirens, people, and cars all night. The walls are thin, so bring earplugs. Water pressure was great, at least. The front desk service was good, though they didn’t go out of their way to make us comfortable because the hotel was fully booked. They had everything you could ask for hygiene-wise. The pillows had a mix of hard and soft shells and were a bit flat, but luckily the desk found another one for my partner. If all you need is a bed and shower for the night, this works.
