10/10
The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with fast wifi, a smart tv, and a comfortable bed. There’s also a convenience store nearby. The woman who runs the hotel was kind and helpful. If I need to stay overnight here again, this is where I’ll come back to.

The staff were incredibly kind and even helped with our luggage, and they tried hard to find us the information we needed. Check-in was a pleasant experience, even though we arrived pretty late after the new year fireworks at Haus Ten Burg. The room was really clean and fairly large, with two single beds and a desk. The toilet, bathtub, and washing basin are all separate, which made the room comfortable. It also had 5G wi-fi, something I rarely saw during my stay. The hotel is less than a 10-minute walk from the station, though there are some steep roads, and you pass an important Sasebo church along the way. Definitely a thumbs up for this almost 60-year-old traditional business hotel.

The staff were polite and helpful, and the hotel is close to the mall, train station, and a Daily Yamazaki just nearby. Parking is limited, but the lot was mostly empty during my stay, which was convenient. The room itself had hard beds, no personal microwave, weak wifi bandwidth, and a cramped desk.

The beds were comfortable, and restaurants are an easy walk away. A decent place if you just need somewhere to stay while you’re in town.

A little business hotel tucked off the main street.
