I was glad to find Win Village after I couldn't get a room in Imari/Arita. The cottage rooms are nicely spaced out, with a large room and an attached toilet with a good tub bath. The area is quiet, the air conditioning worked well, and the basic amenities were all there. Even arriving around 10:45pm, I found reception open and was able to get a hot meal when I asked. A taxi from Arita train station takes about 10 minutes, and the staff can arrange one with just 10 minutes' notice. Great value for money, and I'd happily stay here again.

Absolutely perfect!

We booked the old building just the day before for our family of four, and it was so cheap. The room was roomy, and the faucet gave us actual hot spring water. It smelled sulfurous, but it was properly hot, and we soaked for ages. The bath setup was pretty unusual, almost ridiculously fancy with its jacuzzi and light. It was transparent, though, so even with it separate from the toilet, nobody could use the toilet while someone was bathing. For that price, I could let all of that go. Loved it.

I stayed in the newer building, and it was really comfortable. You can arrive empty-handed since they have meat, sweets, alcohol, drinks, and snacks available, although the meat is frozen. There's also play equipment and a garden for kids, plus the hot spring bath, which was a big bonus. Breakfast costs 500 yen and is good value, like a mom's packed lunch. I'd recommend staying here.

March 2026 The kids had been wanting to try the new cottage building, so we stayed there on the way to Nagasaki. They had a barbecue grill ready for us, and all we needed to bring was the meat. Being able to use the cottage's wooden deck made it easy to move between the room and the BBQ, which worked well with children. Kids up to elementary school age can share a bed with their parents, so it seems like an affordable family option. November 2025 We booked the same day and still got to enjoy the natural hot spring, a barbecue, and rental toys for the kids. We were very satisfied. The trip to Nagasaki was spontaneous. The kids were already packing pajamas, but a business hotel for five that night would have been nearly 50,000 yen, so we were close to giving up. Instead, we found a weekend room for 11,000 yen and a 3,500 yen BBQ setup with table, chairs, grill, charcoal, paper plates, sauce, salt and pepper. We picked up meat at the nearby Aeon or Trial supermarket and brought our own ingredients. Our 4-year-old had wanted to barbecue for ages, but we'd avoided doing it by a river or in the mountains because it felt too dangerous. Here, next to a plaza, we could get things ready safely while keeping an eye on the kids playing badminton. They were thrilled to finish with marshmallows. The front desk sold things we might have forgotten, and lent us long extendable skewers, too. We stayed in the old building this time. The website said it had previously been a love hotel, which made me hesitate about bringing the kids. You can still see traces of that past inside and out, but having a natural hot spring in the room for that price was plenty for me. We could park beside the building, and since it was a whole-house rental, we didn't have to worry about the kids being noisy. The room was spacious and they loved it, especially the jacuzzi, bubble bath, and color-changing neon lights in the bathroom. The spring water felt wonderfully smooth and silky, a lot like Ureshino Onsen. The newer condominium-style rooms have wooden decks for barbecuing, so I'd like to try one next time. The staff were very kind to us. Thank you!
