The included meals were good quality, and I enjoyed the onsen too. Staff provided good service, including free pickup and drop-off at akida airport. It's a good base for nearby places such as the ski area, with two free drop-offs there and two pickups from the ski area.

The hotel felt completely run down, and it seemed clearly headed out of business. Our room was old and even had directions for what to do if you found insects. The Onsen was filthy. Terrible.

The food was alright, but the spa facilities weren't sufficient. There were only three hair dryers in the women's spa, and people had to queue to shower.

The dinner felt luxurious, the breakfast was nice, and the price was comparatively affordable. Pick a room for a great view. It's just not somewhere you'd normally find yourself visiting.

Really nice service and very good value for the cost. Recommended.
