Check-in and check-out were easy, and the staff were very welcoming. The clean, well-kept cottage works well for a family and can sleep up to six with futon beds. The fireplace was perfect for warm, cozy evenings. It’s a good base for day trips in sheritoko park or hikes nearby. I’d change the provided slippers to disposable ones.

The staff were really nice, and the food options were both good and affordable. The cabins are comfy, spacious enough, and heated very well, set among the woods. Bathrooms are in the main building and are clean and modern. The sauna costs extra, but it’s a very good option, with relaxing baths and a sauna.

The staff were friendly, cheerful, and very helpful, making a real effort to help guests enjoy their stay at Hotel Both. They even offer a free shuttle from Shari Bus Terminal or Shari JR Train Station. The building feels strikingly modern but still welcoming, thanks to all the quality wood. Capsule rooms are nearly soundproof, with nice bed linen. Both the Western and Japanese breakfasts were delicious and generous, and free towels and branded toiletries are provided. Best capsule hotel in Japan!

We arrived last night and started laundry this morning. We’re staying in a cottage, and it’s just right for us, clean and well cared for. Dinner at the on-site restaurant was delicious. The staff are wonderful. We don’t speak the same language, but that wasn’t a problem, and Google Translate helped too. This place is a hidden gem, and my husband did an awesome job finding it.
