For ¥4060 a night, this was better than I expected. The room has a small sink, and there's a microwave outside. A supermarket is just a 5-minute walk away. You need to ask reception for hot water, which I didn't like, but otherwise it's good value. Reception and the rooms are both on the 2nd floor.

It's cheap, but there are some uncomfortable things to put up with. Reception is on the 2F, and if you're carrying big luggage, you have to take it up the stairs yourself. There's no elevator or anyone to help. Although there are many rooms, there is only one shower room for men and two for women. The water temperature was hard to control, leaving a choice between getting burned or catching cold. They accept cash only, not credit cards. The taxi company on the ground floor has sofas in the front hall, but the person sitting there used rude gestures and words toward me, so I took off another star. WiFi is available, but the signal was too weak for me to use the internet during my stay.

I was on my pilgrimage and got what I paid for at a very reasonable price. They have a washing machine and dryer, and even helped me call places for the nights ahead.
