Hotel Harvest MADARAO

We paid around 10,000 yen per adult per night, and both Tangram and Harvest club felt like good value. The facility is aged but kept clean and tidy, with great service. The onsen was beautiful, and the helpful reception, lockers, snow access, and short walks to everything made it easy with our young four-year-old. Tangram has three lifts and a handful of runs, with plenty of tree runs and enough challenge to keep powder fans happy. Beginners may not be experienced enough to reach Madarao mountain, but there is a bus. We had private lessons for our son and my wife because he was too young for group lessons. Zigzag buffet was decent but a bit expensive at 11,000; Le Tangram was good but pricey at 24-28,000 yen for two adults and one child. It's a members-only harvest club with ski-in, ski-out access at Tangram, linked to Madarao mountain and Tangram Hotel. I'll come back, maybe with a car to explore other mountains.
