Hamasaka Onsen Umibenooyado Marubun

I don’t know what it cost since someone else took me, but I’d definitely like to go back to Democratic Seaside Inn Marubun in Hyogo Prefecture. The ocean is right outside, and the food was tasty. We went in summer and spent the whole day at the beach, then had the baths to ourselves and could really relax.

The room was clean and pleasant, with a view of the ocean, and the rate was reasonable. They were kind enough to take out the trash for us too, sorry for the trouble. I’d like to stay again.

We had our soft tennis club alumni New Year’s party here. The banquet hall was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed eating while seated. The owner was friendly and very kind, which left a good impression. We all said we’d like to hold our New Year’s party here every year from now on. Wi-Fi was readily available too.

After about 10 years away, I visited again and found Marubun just as I expected. It was my first stay outside crab season, and the seafood was delicious. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent. The two baths are still there as before, and you can use the family bath. One thing to know is there are no refrigerators in the rooms. The inn’s fridge has soft drinks like oolong tea, Mitsuya Cider, orange juice, and mineral water, plus two kinds of bottled beer and cold sake. If you want anything else to drink, I’d suggest buying it at the convenience store beforehand.
