The parking area turned out to be a big open space, so I don't understand why it only allows two cars. Inside, the room felt dusty and not very well cleaned. We also lost time cleaning before we could even start the BBQ. While I was working in the kitchen, a piece of glass cut me. Luckily, it wasn't one of the children who got hurt. Getting in was a struggle too. The PIN kept returning errors, so I couldn't unlock the house. Agoda said check-in was at 3 PM, while the confirmation email said 4 PM. I emailed the day before to check which time was right and got no response. An emergency contact number would have been useful if something went wrong.

I canceled in the end. The booking page said check-in was at 3 PM, then the details sent after booking changed it to 4 PM. When I asked why, they said it depended on the cleaning schedule, which wasn't a clear answer at all. I raised my concern and said I might cancel. They replied, "Okay, 3 PM is fine." Changing the explanation that easily didn't feel trustworthy. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone who wants consistent service and customer support.

They sent my forgotten item for 1500 yen plus cash on delivery, which I appreciated, but they packed it in only the outer cardboard box. It arrived completely flattened. For the money, they did the bare minimum. After I paid, I texted asking them to get in touch once they'd confirmed everything, but they ignored that too. They never contacted me about the lost item in the first place. If I hadn't followed up, would they have just kept it? (laughs)
