The hot springs are excellent, and the place is a good fit if you want a relaxed stay. Shirahama is right in front of you, though the building hides the inn, so the view from the room isn't great. For the price, it seems like a good spot for a family to stay a few summer nights. If you're looking for high-quality food, it may not be the right choice.

The warm hospitality is still a wonderful memory. Around ten years ago, while traveling alone, I booked at the last minute and they were incredibly kind and accommodating. I've been a fan ever since. I had a knee injury then, and after soaking in the hot spring I heard a cracking sound and the pain eased. I asked the owner about it, and he explained the story behind the hot spring source, which helped me understand. Since then, whenever I visit Shirahama, I make a point of stopping by. The facilities are a little dated, but they were kept very clean, and the price was quite reasonable. There were five of us including children, and we were all very satisfied. Even things like beer weren't excessively expensive. We stayed during summer vacation on a weekday, and it was peaceful and quiet. The place reminded me of my grandmother's house in the countryside, which gave me a nostalgic feeling. The staff were kind and attentive throughout.

The rice from the cooker was delicious, and the hot spring water felt really good. The building is old, but it has a certain charm and is well maintained. One thing to keep in mind: the stairs up to the inn could be difficult if you have trouble walking.
